At Rota A/S we have deliberately chosen not to use ISO 9001 certification and instead have built up a quality control system that runs parallel with ISO certification. This decision is due to the fact that in the course of a year there are so few discrepancies/complaints. So we think being certified would only increase costs unnecessarily, thus increasing prices for our customers.
Our quality control system ensures that customers enjoy doing business with us. We have written procedures for everything from complaints to changes in technical drawings.
We are constantly evaluated by customers that have ISO 9001 certification. These customers do not normally come with new requirements after such an evaluation, because we already meet their requirements.
The customer’s evaluation normally covers the following: quality, packaging, delivery time, defects, measurement reports, and order confirmation.
